'I'm thrilled about how it turned out,' Thomas explains, 'it sort of steps out of the speakers and grabs you. It's definitely got the intensity I was going for when I started the project...some songs are all out loud rock and roll; some are so subdued it's deafening... pretty dynamic.' The Recovery refuses to be categorized. Musically, it is both nostalgic and progressive. Lyrically, it engages the listener in discussions about faith, hope, joy, and the complete lack thereof.
