Brazilian Pop were a group of traditional Brazilian musicians who toured frequently in the 1960's and early 1970's. While on tour in Miami during the late 1960's, they recorded "The Musical Family" at M&M Studios in Hialeah. Featuring songs by famed Brazilian composers Dori Caymmi and Jorge Ben, Argentinean composer Carlos Gardel and a special tip of the hat to their hosts in Miami with their Brazilian take of the George McRae smash, "Rock Your Baby". All selections newly re-mastered.
