Product Notes
Back in 1973 Mark Knopfler auditioned for the Buckinghamshire based Brewers Droop and as a fresh faced 21 year old he beat the other thirty five applicants for the job as guitarist. The band toured throughout the UK and Europe and by May 1974 had completed over sixty gigs and had recorded their album "The Booze Brothers". The Band began as a good rocking Cajun band and progressed into a tight, productive unit. The tracks were recorded at Rockfield, Wales and local boy Dave Edmunds helped out on guitar and production.
