Hot on the heels of her debut CD, The Other Side, and a slew of supporting gigs all over the East Coast, Danan Healy arrives in late 2007 with a full length holiday album, Christmas Time Rocks. Christmas Time Rocks features traditional Christmas favorites, jazz arrangements of holiday standards, and two of Healy's own original tunes: the title track, a reggae celebration of Christmas despite all the things that can go wrong, and 'The One,' a poignant ballad about the mother Mary. Healy's musical career includes a five year stint in the Soldiers' Chorus of the US Army Field Band, three years fronting a rock band in Baltimore, and currently her own solo rock career in New York City. A classically trained graduate of The Eastman School of Music, she has been dedicated to writing and performing her own music since 2002, releasing three CDs in the last two years, including Christmas Time Rocks.
