Doug Spartz has more then 30 album projects to his name. This project was done for fun with several of his musical friends including Bobby Vee, Jonathan Edwards, Calvin James Johnson, Gene Jurek, Larry Suess, Rick Hollister, Ar Stevens, Steve Canavan, Denny Charnecki, Sherwin Linton, and Tony Andreason. The album ranges from cover tunes of everything from a 50's medley to the hard-driving Moon Martin tune 'Rolene', with rockabilly songs 'Bip Bop Boom' and 'Miss Froggie' thrown into the mix. Jonathan Edwards and Doug Spartz redo the classic 'Sunshine Go Away Today' with a blend of country and bluegrass. This project is meant to be turned up loud and enjoyed for what it is...a fun trip back in time along with some of the best national and regional artists working today.
