Drifft is a self-described "folk rap" band that draws influence from artists as diverse as the Beatles, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, James Taylor, Ani Difranco, Busta Rhymes, and Tori Amos. The debut album, Jabbing Thermal Desuetude, is a cacophony of melodic, clever folk rap meant to be entertaining, ironic, stylistically diverse, and at times, meaningful. The album is for fans of thought-provoking and genre-bending music incorporating pop sensibilities, rap vocals, complex drum parts, and catchy guitar grooves. Drifft is composed of brothers Marc Fleagle (Pug Flat) and Matt Fleagle, along with percussionist Adam Wolfe.
