Following our Fall, 2006 debut CD, Genuine Hick went back into the studio the Summer of 2007 and began work on album #2: Current Problems in Animal Behaviour. This album is being released November, 2007. The same group of musicians who made the first CD are back with one exception: Scott Keeton, who played lead guitar, did not participate. Chuck Baker stepped in authoritatively to handle lead guitar duties. We did add a number of very talented musicians to the new effort, including Lacy Saunders, who has a stunning voice, and the bluegrass tandem of Buffalo Rogers and Fitz Jennings. 'Current Problems in Animal Behavior' is as eclectic as our first CD--maybe more so--and listeners will hear genres ranging from gruesome blues to high lonesome country dirges, Americana nuggets and fractured punk rock fairytales.
