Out of the "Land of Ice and Snow" (Norway; for those unfamiliar with Led Zeppelin!), comes this four-piece, bringing with them a hard rocking 70s heritage moulded into the sounds of the 21st century. After many years in the international music business, involved in pop, rock and progressive acts like "One2Many", "Oceans Apart" and "Blind Orphans", Jan Gisle Ytterdal (guitars), Sven Kaare Sunde (vocals, bass), Dag Veidal (keyboards) and Torbjørn Dybsand (drums) founded Glow in 1996, and immediately took the live scene by storm, this resulting in their first promo-CD "So Hot - So What?" in 1999/2000. Now, after three years of hard work and brilliant reviews, "Flipside of Reality" uncovers further development of Glow's hard melodic rock trademark. With influences from Led Zeppelin or U2, to Genesis or Beatles, you still immediately hear the distinctive sound of Glow: In-your-face guitars, bigger-than-the-sky keyboards with Thunder itself behind the drums, topped with a vocal swinging between Ian Gillan and Peter Gabriel. Signing up with Brennus Music in spring 2003, Glow is now ready for the world, and, judging by advance interest, it seems the world is ready for Glow! We can only agree with one Norwegian newspaper stating: "This band should have a "Fire Warning" sticker!"
